Sr. Aisha
Assalamu Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
My name is Aisha Fili and I will be a new addition to the Crescent Qura'nic - Arabic team insha Allah. As some may know, I am not new to the school as I have worked as an assistant teacher in Crescent Academy for the school years 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. Hence, most of the students are known to me.
I have a Master's degree in Economics from Eastern Michigan University where I was a graduate assistant as well. My experience with the Arabic language goes back to my years in Egypt where I studied at Cairo University and taught Qura'n to children in some Masjids there.
Finally, I have a good experience in teaching languages in general such as French, Albanian, and English, but above all Arabic as I was engaged in volunteering to teach Arabic to non Arabic speakers back when I was in Cairo.
I hope that this will be an enriching experience to the students where they can learn and love the language of the Qura'n.
Jazakum Allahu khairan
